Thomas finished 21st at the Wells Fargo Championship last week after placing fifth at the RBC Heritage the week before. Thomas had a tough second day at the Masters to miss the cut, but opened with an even-par 72 over his first 18 holes in what was a bounce-back season after a difficult 2022-23 campaign for the 15-time PGA Tour champion.
