Alamo Drafthouse, the movie theater chain that disappeared during the previous pandemic declaring bankruptcy three years ago, it got a new lease on life after finding a new corporate owner.

Private equity firms Altamont Capital and Fortress Investment purchased Alamo as part of its bankruptcy. The theater company emerged from Chapter 11 in March 2021.
