Another week, another monster bag on the PGA Tour (taken home by Scottie Scheffler). The first exclusive event to be played after the 2024 Masters took place in Hilton Head, South Carolina, with the RBC Heritage hosting the Tour’s best golfers – and the best golfer in the world emerged victorious once again
With $20 million at stake in total, Scottie Scheffler won for the fourth time in his last five startsearning the winner’s share of $3.6 million.
There was no cut this week, so everyone in the field was guaranteed at least $41,000, no matter how many crooked numbers they posted. This is the new way of life for Tour pros, as this is one of eight exclusive big-money events, only three of which have a share.
Your first four exclusive event winners this season…
- The Sentinel: Chris Kirk ($3.6 million)
- Pebble Beach Pro Am: Wyndham Clark ($3.6 million)
- Genesis Invitational: Hideki Matsuyama ($4 million)
- Arnold Palmer Invitational: Scottie Scheffler ($4 million)
- RBC Inheritance: Scottie Scheffler ($3.6 million)
Scheffler has now won $16.25 million from his last five starts, including $3.6 million for winning the 2024 Masters, $4.5 million for winning The Players Championship and $554,000 for finishing second in the Houston Open.
The Wells Fargo Championship, Memorial and Travelers Championship will round out the eight signature events for 2024. Only the Memorial will make a cut. Adding it all up, there is nearly $200 million at stake between these eight tournaments plus The Players Championship, which Scheffler won in early March.
Let’s take a look at the 2024 RBC Heritage pay list for the 69 players playing this event.
