Xander Schauffele enters the 2024 US Open second in the FedEx Cup standings after securing nine top-10 finishes this season. Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been on a roll since the PGA Tour restarted in June 2020. In fact, the model has won nearly $9,000 on its best bets since the restart, winning tournament after tournament.
McClure’s model correctly predicted that Scottie Scheffler would finish atop the leaderboard at the 2024 Masters, the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Players Championship this season. Rahm was two strokes off the lead in the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the model’s second consecutive victory at the Masters, which also guaranteed Scheffler’s victory in 2022.

Top US Open Predictions for 2024
A big surprise: Bryson DeChambeau, with a 20-1 chance, has a good campaign for the title. He is a target for anyone looking for a big payday. Coming off a runner-up finish at the PGA Championship that followed a sixth-place finish at the Masters, DeChambeau is one of two golfers with top-six finishes in the first two majors of the year. These results are a continuation of an impressive overall season from the 2020 US Open champion, as DeChambeau has six top 10s in his last eight matches this year.
While many of DeChambeau’s tournaments are played in foreign countries, he has made the most of his time in the United States and has placed in the top 10 in his four national starts in 2024. Going back to last year, he has six consecutive top-place finishes in the United States. United States, including a victory in Chicago last fall. He has already demonstrated the courage it takes to win a US Open and is breaking out of consecutive top 10s at majors for the first time in his career.
