Vikings, Justin Jefferson agree to record extension making WR the highest-paid non-QB in history



Justin Jefferson isn’t going anywhere. The Minnesota Vikings announced that they have granted their wide receiver a record-setting contract extension that will make Jefferson the highest-paid non-quarterback in the world. NFL history, according to CBS Sports’ top NFL insider Jonathan Jones.

Specifically, the two sides agreed to a four-year extension worth $140 million, including $110 million guaranteed, according to ESPN. Jefferson’s deal will see him earn $88,743 due at signing. The 24-year-old entered the league as the 22nd overall pick in 2020 NFL Draft outside of LSU.
