2024 NHL Stanley Cup Final bracket, scores, schedule: Edmonton Oilers to face Florida Panthers for Stanley Cup

The Stanley Cup final has already been decided. The Edmonton Oilers will look to end a long drought for Canadian teams winning the championship when they take on the Florida Panthers. Game 1 begins Saturday night in what should be an epic series.

The Oilers have faced a difficult road to get to this point. Edmonton beat the Los Angeles Knights, Vancouver Canucks and Dallas Stars to win the Western Conference behind the incredible offensive attack of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Now, the Oilers are looking to win their first World Cup since 1990 and, at the same time, end the Canadian drought, which dates back to 1993.

The last Canada Cup came a year before the Panthers played their first season. Florida is back in the finals after losing a season ago against the Vegas Golden Knights. The Panthers rose to the challenge in the Eastern Conference, defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning, Boston Bruins and Presidents Trophy winners New York Rangers. Led by Matthew Tkachuk and goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, the Panthers are looking to win their first title in franchise history.
