Euro 2024 begins on June 14, with a month of action set to determine who the kings of Europe are. Italy is the current champion, but teams such as England, France, Germany, Spain and Portugal are candidates for what is expected to be an exciting cup. Germany is the host and aims for revitalization on the global stage

Many of the world’s greatest talents will be on full display, with Jude Bellingham and Bukayo Saka looking to lead the Three Lions to glory, but Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, German Florian Wirtz and Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo plan to have something to say about it.

While there is huge pressure on Germany as hosts following their failures at the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, England arguably face the greatest pressure. The national team never won the competition and the last major trophy came at the 1966 World Cup.

• AufSchalke Arena, Cologne Stadium, Waldstadion and Leipzig Stadium: Games up to the round of 16 will be played at Gelsenkirchen’s Veltins-Arena (Schalke 04), Cologne’s RheinEnergieStadion (FC Koln), Frankfurt’s Deutsche Bank Park (Eintracht Frankfurt) and Leipzig’s Red Bull Arena (RB Leipzig) – all renamed by UEFA for this competition.
• Stuttgart Arena, Volksparkstadion and Düsseldorf Arena: Games up to the quarter-finals will be played at Stuttgart’s MHPArena (VfB Stuttgart), Hamburg’s Volksparkstadion (Hamburger SV) and Dusseldorf’s Merkur Spiel-Arena (Fortuna Dusseldorf) – all renamed by UEFA for this competition.
• Fußball Arena München and BVB Stadion Dortmund: Games up to the semi-finals will be played at Munich’s Allianz Arena (Bayern Munich) and Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park (Borussia Dortmund) – both renamed by UEFA for this competition.
• Olympic Stadium: Games up to the final will be played at Berlin’s Olympiastadion (Hertha BSC).
