Portugal 2, Czech Republic 1: last minute victory
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal won their opening game against the Czech Republic thanks to a last-minute winner from Conceição, who scored his first goal for the national team. It was not easy for the team coached by Roberto Martinez, who fought and also conceded the opening goal of the game in the second half to Lukas Provod, but managed to recover late in the last minutes.

Georgia had another great opportunity to equalise, but Kochorashvili’s shot was blocked against the post before Karem Aktürkoğlu scored the final goal of the clash. Turkiye won 3-1 and are now well placed to qualify for the next stage as they face Portugal on Saturday.
